overview
Hatfield Ice is a three sheet facility in Colmar, PA just north of Philadelphia. Hatfield has facilities to assist you with party rooms, showers, proshop snack bar and restaurant. In addition there are many partnering restaurants in the area to serve your team while you are in town for the tournament.
The 19th Annual President's Day Classic will utilize all 3 surfaces over the three to four day round robin tournament with teams participating at the Tier I, Tier II and High School for girls. Each team will play three game minimum in round robin play. There will be playoff and or consolation games, with the top teams playing the championship game.
The Lady Patriots are committed to the development of Youth Hockey in the Buck & Montgomery County area. We are proud to be associated with multiple quality facilities that follow USA Hockey’s Zero Tolerance policies and expect all participants, coaches and spectators to follow those policies. Abusive and irresponsible behavior will not be tolerated.

Game Format
- Four (4) games guaranteed
- No ice resurfacing during games
- All games will play to completion
- If the goal differential is seven goals or more, there will be a running clock in the third period and any additional goals will not be put on the scoreboard.
Rules and Penalties
This is a USA Hockey Sanctioned and all games will be played according to USAH rules and penalties.
- All players and coaches must be USA Hockey Registered.
- All Teams must provide proof of USAH Registration (Member Cards and T-1 Form)
- Any player receiving 4 penalties in one game will be ejected from the game with no further suspension.
- Fighting Majors will result in immediate ejection from the tournament, no exceptions.
- Tournament director reserve the right to change any tournament rule he deems necessary for equal play during the tournament.
Standings & Tie Breakers
Two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a loss.
Tie Breakers for all scenarios are as follows:
- Points
- Wins
- Head to Head (This tie breaker does not apply if three teams are tied)
- Highest Goal Quotient (Goals for divided by goals against)
- Fewest Penalties
- Coin Toss
